 SIDU

sidu is bread that is made from wheat flour. It is a mixture of wheat and yeast by putting directly on the bonfire and then later streamed. This dish is usually made by using a ghee or butter and can be eaten with mutton or dal. Sidu can easily be found in the local restaurants of Himachal Predesh to give tourist a flavour of Himachali food. Mostly they are eaten in Kullu Manali , yet known as Kullvi dish. 

 

BABRU 

Babru is a famous black gram stuffed kachori or puris which are served for breakfast. This dish is usually by black gram or whole dal is soaked overnight and is ground to course mix , before stuffing it into the kachoris and deep fried on oil. Serve the babru at last with chana dal.

PATRODE 

Patrode dish is the most famous Himachal Pradesh food item. This dish is prepared with the leaves of Arbi. The gram flour paste is prepared with all the himachali spices , and then this paste is spread all over the Arbi leaves , and the arbi leaves rolled and streamed for 20-30 minutes. After the streaming , this dish gets half cooked and then cut in the slices and fried in the oil , and then this mouth-watering dish is ready to eat.

TUDKIYA BHATH

Tudkiya bhath is a slow-cooked rice recipe of Himachal Pradesh that pahadi people cook in their own very style. The dish is not only cooked with Indian species but an  extra add up to the lentils , potatoes , garlic , cinnamon , cardamom provides this dish such a great taste that will make you want it again and again. For the best taste , tudkiya bhath is complemented with mash dal and few drops of lime juice.

The food talk of Himachal Pradesh cannot be completed without including the tibetan cuisines. Being an important Tibetan colony , the regional food of Himachal Pradesh is highly inspired by the Tibetan culture. The best of which can be found in Mcleodganj and Dharmshala.

Diwali 2021 : a festival of light

Diwali, a festival of light is one of the biggest festival of the year in India. Diwali symbolizes "the spiritual victory of light over darkness and good over evil". 

The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi , goddess of prosperity and wealth , with many other regional traditions connecting the holiday to Sita and Rama , Vishnu , Krishna , Yama , Yami , Durga , Kali , Dhanvantari or Vishvakarman.

It is mainly celebrated in order of Lord Rama return to his kingdom in Ayodhya , after staying in exile for 14 years. He is also considered as Lord Vishnu's reincarnation.

On Diwali , clay diyas are often used temporarily as lighting for special occasions. Diya is essential in Hinduism because it signifies purity , goodness , good luck and power. The presence of light means absence of darkness and evil forces.

This year , Diwali will fall on 4 November 2021.

Diwali starts with Dhanteras that falls two day before Diwali followed by Narak Chaturdashi , choti Diwali , Lakshmi Pooja / badi Diwali , Padwa , bhai dooj as the last day of the 5 day Diwali festival.

I binged watched this series from start to end , and its extremely rare for me to do so. The series overall is very vibrant , will keep you on the edge , actors have done a wonderful job, every other character development are far better than the main character. 

This is a South Korean series available on Netflix . It was written and directed by Hwang Dong - hyuk .

Released on Sept. 17 , is a nine episode series. Squid Game is the first Korean Drama to hit the NO. 1 spot on Netflix , reaching that milestones just four days after its release. 

In Squid Game , a group of 456 people from all walks of life are invited to play a series of children games with life threatening consequences to have a chance to win a 45.6 billions prize.

The games are simple and easy , so viewers can give more focus on each character rather than complex game rules.

 

This series has something for everyone , it is emotional dramatic , comedic at times and has enough blood scenes for suspense to enjoy. 

I think the slow tackles all these issues masterfully. Even in the end , it ask- What would you do if you survived and had all the money? Would you be able to spend it carefully after seeing 455 people dying ? 

In short , it leaves us with the message that the game is still on.

SAIR FESTIVAL 🌾🌼

SAIR 

This festival is celebrated to mark the end of the harvest of crops and to prepare for the long and harsh winter ahead. 

This time of the festival is also known for its belief that the god return from the earth to heaven at this time of the festival.

In this festival the rakhi thread are removed and offered to the mother sairi.

The centuries old sair festival is celebrated mainly in Kangra , Mandi , Kullu and solan districts every year in mid september. 

What people do in Sair 

During Sair , local people beat drums while offering their gathered yields to the Gods. It is believed that thusly , one could summon the energies of the Gods and look for endowments of mega crops in the following season. Additionally , local people have prophet meetings wherein they evade fiendish spirits for guaranteeing the flourishing of their respective families alongside the assurance of animals and yields from any spot of regular failure. 

Sair in Kangra , Hamirpur , Bilaspur 

On this day , the arrangements for the morning pooja initiate from the prior night. 

In the pooja makings , individuals add in their harvest which by and large range from maize , guava , lemon alongside wheat. 

The next morning , a barber from the town visits each house conveying the symbol of Sair Devi and the seasons gathering alongside some cash . All things considered , the barber is then barber is then given some of the seasons collection and some money as 'chadawa'                   

    

 

 People also purchase many items like utensils , clothes and cook many scrumptions , dishes like dahi bhalla , kachori , meethi roti , gulgule , pakudu , kheer is also made in most of the houses.And many children also play " paise " on this festival.

Sair in Mandi 

In Mandi individuals celebrate with purchasing and giving walnut to their friends and family , one can see the street sides brimming with merchants selling walnut in huge sacks. The traditions of playing with walnuts continues in the rural areas to this day.

Apart from this dishes like  Siddu , Kachori , Chldu and Gulgule are made. Also their is a tradition of taking blessing from elders, it is called "Drub dena "in a local dialect.

        

Sair in Kullu 

In Kullu , that very day , individuals celebrate what they call as 'Sairi - Sajja'. A night prior , lamb and rice feast is ready for supper and the following very day of celebration begins with exceptional cleaning and pooja of Kul Deity and preparation of halwa , which is then shared among the relatives.

For individuals of Kullu it is a period of festival at the beginning of Shravan month. It is a celebration of meeting and seeing family members who are welcomed with Joob - a green plant , more like grass. 

       

Sair Fair in Solan And Shimla 

On this day fair are held at different places and people participate in them enthusiastically. Drum are played and folk dances performed. On an average 50 bulls are gathered for the bubbly event.

and the boy manav 17th year old boy from Gurgaon committed suicide because of fake rape case by a girl on him and threatened by girl for a sexual harassment. He couldn't handle the pressure and he just committed suicide.

in roadies season 18 ....you must have seen that neha dhupia abuse her contestant because her contestant said that his girlfriend was cheating on him with five boyfriends , and then he slapped her for doing this to him. Then neha dhupia said that "it's her choice" whether to be with 5-7 , how the fuck did you slap a girl. If she was with five , may be the problem is with you.

it is clear from this that even if the girl does wrong , she is always right and if the boy does wrong , he is hypocrite.

sometime ago in noida 

3 students of Amity University , Noida were beaten and thrashed , by 20-25 people outside the collage campus over a minor parking dispute.

this story started when  Divaker Tyagi , Harsh Yadev and Sourav Pradham were coming for collage by a car. And on the way to the campus a car was parked in which two girls were sit.They didn't even ask the girls to give them a way , they told the guard to give them a way. But the girls refused to move and started the fight.Guard intervened and helped them get the car inside. But the girls started to abuse and threaten them. Harsh and Divanker get out of the car to talk to the girls about the argument. But the girls kept threatening. Boys decided to let thing cool and went to the class.

After an hour , the girls brought 20-25 boys inside their class. Teacher refused them to enter the class but they don't listen to teacher. And they started to fight with Harsh and Divaker. Many students were hurt during the whole incident. Then , the boys leave the class. Out of fear , they called the PCR (Police Control Romm) van. While Harsh and his friend Madhav were waiting outside for the PCR van. And then , 25-30 people came towards them with rode , stones , sticks and bricks and started beating. The injured were taken to hospital by their friends.

In society , we often get too emotional if any crime against women comes up in the news and that's absolutely justified.

Suicide rate for men is almost double of that of women in India , this means that they are more prone to stress or they are not allowed to show their emotions which eventually leads to depression.

Feminism is just advocacy of women's rights and the equality of the sexes.
