"Squid Game"

 

I binged watched this series from start to end , and its extremely rare for me to do so. The series overall is very vibrant , will keep you on the edge , actors have done a wonderful job, every other character development are far better than the main character. 

This is a South Korean series available on Netflix . It was written and directed by Hwang Dong - hyuk .

Released on Sept. 17 , is a nine episode series. Squid Game is the first Korean Drama to hit the NO. 1 spot on Netflix , reaching that milestones just four days after its release. 

In Squid Game , a group of 456 people from all walks of life are invited to play a series of children games with life threatening consequences to have a chance to win a 45.6 billions prize.

The games are simple and easy , so viewers can give more focus on each character rather than complex game rules.

 

This series has something for everyone , it is emotional dramatic , comedic at times and has enough blood scenes for suspense to enjoy. 

I think the slow tackles all these issues masterfully. Even in the end , it ask- What would you do if you survived and had all the money? Would you be able to spend it carefully after seeing 455 people dying ? 

In short , it leaves us with the message that the game is still on.
