SIDU
sidu is bread that is made from wheat flour. It is a mixture of wheat and yeast by putting directly on the bonfire and then later streamed. This dish is usually made by using a ghee or butter and can be eaten with mutton or dal. Sidu can easily be found in the local restaurants of Himachal Predesh to give tourist a flavour of Himachali food. Mostly they are eaten in Kullu Manali , yet known as Kullvi dish.
BABRU
Babru is a famous black gram stuffed kachori or puris which are served for breakfast. This dish is usually by black gram or whole dal is soaked overnight and is ground to course mix , before stuffing it into the kachoris and deep fried on oil. Serve the babru at last with chana dal.
PATRODE
Patrode dish is the most famous Himachal Pradesh food item. This dish is prepared with the leaves of Arbi. The gram flour paste is prepared with all the himachali spices , and then this paste is spread all over the Arbi leaves , and the arbi leaves rolled and streamed for 20-30 minutes. After the streaming , this dish gets half cooked and then cut in the slices and fried in the oil , and then this mouth-watering dish is ready to eat.
TUDKIYA BHATH
Tudkiya bhath is a slow-cooked rice recipe of Himachal Pradesh that pahadi people cook in their own very style. The dish is not only cooked with Indian species but an extra add up to the lentils , potatoes , garlic , cinnamon , cardamom provides this dish such a great taste that will make you want it again and again. For the best taste , tudkiya bhath is complemented with mash dal and few drops of lime juice.
